Friday the Animated Series

I was watching MTV last night and they showed a preview of what is to be a Friday Animated Cartoon series based on Ice Cube's trilogy. Now they flashed the preview so fast it was like I was dreaming the whole thing. So I don't want to think that I made it up, so I am etching this into my proverbial stone so that when it comes to light. I can say ahh yes, I'm crazy but not a fool. It looked pretty interesting though. And speaking of Friday, I read that Ice Cube is looking to do the Last Friday and Chris Tucker has signed on, but the hold up is the film company or something. Basically he just needs the okay and Smoke Dog is back.

I read on nahright.com that 50 Cent's Curtissss CD may not hit stores at all. (It had been pushed back from the original release date) All of yall GGGGGGG-Unit fans sorry, but Amusement Park and Straight to the Bank didn't get the fan fare that Interscope thought it would sooooo... they are now asking Curtis to go back to the studio to record at least 3 new tracks to make sure the CD has at least one hit on it (snicker-snicker). But of course with all of his arrogance he is asking for seven figures to get his sing game, I mean rap game on. Damn, Cam may have come off looking crackish in that video with them drawls on but Fiddy...damn, not one hit on the CD. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I'm such a stinker!

It's All There in Black and White

So many people walking around talking race isn't an issue, well apparently it is right along with the stature of class and economics. This is very apparent in the case of Genarlow Wilson a former Georgia high school football star who was jailed for 2 years for having consensual oral sex with a 15yr old girl on videotape when he was 17 in 2003. As of Monday he was ordered to be released from prison from the judge who cited that his 10 year mandatory sentence was a "grave miscarriage of justices." It gets better... the law itself has been rewritten by lawmakers in GA that will free Wilson but attorney general Baker has made the decision to appeal the overturned sentence which will keep Wilson in jail for now. Subsequently he would have to register as a sex offender if the sentence stands. To read more on this story see Forbes.com. My point is, there is different laws for Blacks and Whites. The sentencing is way different for the same crimes. Think about it and pay attention.

As a side note, Why isn't R Kelly in jail, isn't this almost the same crime? Humm! 15yr old girl, oral sex, video tape...I'm just saying!!

I read on allhiphop.com that Stack Bundles was shot and killed Monday Morning June 11. Stack was my favorite from BrydGang. If you didn't know who he was check out his vid and check out the Jim Jones Weatherman track that featured him and Lil Wayne.

Do you see Tony's face in this pix? Well this is exactly how I was looking last night when the Series Finale of the Sopranos came to a close. I was pissisippi. They left so much open to speculation which leaves me to believe that HBO may be undecided about the series. They better be on something other than the B.S. they were on last night, cause last night was equivalent to a dude telling you that he is going to give you the best sex you ever had in your life and then when he goes to perform your like boooooooo. Yeah that's how I felt, Sopranos gave me so much hot fire in the beginning and when it was time to climax....boooooo!

Going Nowhere Fast

Aint this some ish: PAW PAW, Mich. - A man was taken on a wild ride when his wheelchair became lodged in the grille of a semitrailer and was accidentally pushed down a highway for four miles at about 50 mph, authorities said.

The 21-year-old man, whose name was not released, was unharmed but was taken to a hospital as a precaution. He had been secured to his wheelchair by a seat belt.
“The man spilled his soda pop, but he wasn’t upset,” said Sgt. Kathy Morton of the Michigan State Police.

This nucca was ROLLING. I wish I could have seen his face rolling down the highway at 50 mph. Smoke must have been coming off of them tires. I am so wrong for this but at least he wasn't hurt. All I'm hearing is Riding Dirty playing in my head because some how I am seeing in his face that he must have shit on himself.

Marley Marl

I read over at allhiphop.com that Marley Marl suffered from a heart attack. According to reports he is in stable condition. In case some of yall don't know. Marley is one of the true pioneers of hip hop. He had some good hits out back in the day with the Juice Crew...Craig G, Big Daddy Kane, Master Ace, Kool G Rap, I know I might be forgetting somebody. But look up Duck Alert and the Symphony and you would know what I talking about.

Wood Harris- 4 Life - DVD July 3

I read the book based on this movie and it was okay. I can't remember the name of it. But and I do mean but next to Capo, Wood Harris is the next one on the list that I deem as in my mind, I am no stalker, doable. I loves me some Wood Harris and then JD Williams is next, so I will be hitting up my mobile video store and getting me some 4 Life in my life. Ahhh, Avon Barksdale and Bodie all in one. I may need me a forty to go with my Wire actors sammich. It's a Celebration Bitches!
